June 8th Golf Blog

We are now in June, and are hoping for the weather to cooperate better than it did in May.  Last May wasn’t any better and we have been able to gain back some of the rounds we lost.  Numerous golfers are complimenting the course conditions thanks to the hard work of our maintenance staff.  The latest severe storm caused a significant amount of tree damage to the course.  We actually had to close the course the day after to enable our staff to clear the debris. It has taken approximately 109 man hours to clear the course of storm damage, and it is still continuing.

Our most recent golf tournament, Mady’s Angels, had their largest tournament yet.  Despite last minute weather cancellations, they had 4 more foursomes than last year! It’s a pleasure working with such a fine organization.  Please check out our events page on CCPPAgolf.com for further charity outings (click here) and come join us and “Golf for the Good.”

We have recently partnered with Tom X Pub for weekend lunches.  We have select items from their menu that you can order and enjoy in the clubhouse after your round.  Come in and enjoy a nice burger, wrap or salad.

Reminder:  Don’t forget about our new golf cards, at an average per round cost between $26.25 and  $27.50 it’s a great way to save!

Golf Cards:       10 rounds for $275   or   20 rounds for $525

Find us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/ccpgolf or on the web at www.ccppagolf.com. The golf committee also meets the second Monday of every month at 8:30 am at the Whispering Pines Banquet Hall while the course is open, and the township building during the winter months!
